What does this mean for a brand-new customer?

Sign up for an Optimizely plan on our Pricing page. To see your current Optimizely subscription, access your Account Settings by clicking on your username in the top-right corner and selecting Account Settings.

 

Note:

What happens if you exceed the 50,000 monthly unique visitor limit in the Starter plan? Your experiments will be paused until the beginning of the next monthly billing cycle, which begins on the day of the month that you started your subscription.

When your experiments are paused, your visitors will see your original site, and not the variations you created in Optimizely. If you think you need more than 50,000 monthly unique visitors, please call us about a customizable Enterprise plan at 1-800-252-9480.

What does this mean for an existing Bronze, Silver, or Gold customer?

We no longer offer Bronze, Silver, or Gold plans. You can learn more about our current pricing here. As an existing and valued customer you have three options available to you:

  • Keep your current plan - Do not take any action, keep paying the same price for your current plan.
  • Upgrade - Move to an Enterprise plan to take advantage of the new pricing and plan structure to get the support and features that are most important to you and your business.
  • Downgrade - Move to the free Starter plan.
 

Important:

Be aware that in most cases, downgrading might not be the best option for existing customers. You might be giving up access to support (the Starter plan will have access to the Optimizely Community, Knowledge Base and Academy, but not to Optimizely Technical Support Team), monthly unique visitors, and features that are important to you.

 

Switching your plan to the new plan structure

Downgrading: Why would you want to?

  • You don’t need access to support.
  • You don’t need the full list of features.
  • You don’t have that much traffic coming to your site or mobile app.

To downgrade, head over to our pricing page to see the features available for the Starter plan. To switch to our free Starter plan, click Get Started in the Starter plan section.

 

Important:

Once you leave a legacy Optimizely plan, you can no longer return to it.


Upgrading: Why would you want to?

  • Select a plan with a customized feature set that is right for your company.
  • Select your level of monthly unique visitors.
  • Select a level of support based on your needs.

Since our Enterprise plans are completely customizable, give us a call at 1-800-252-9480 to discuss your business needs and find a plan that is right for you. You can also click Contact Us on the pricing page and fill out the form, if you prefer to be contacted.

 

Note:

If you are upgrading your subscription in the middle of your billing cycle, you will receive the full unique visitor allowance for that cycle, regardless of when you upgraded.

If you are downgrading your subscription in the middle of your billing cycle, you may be credited a prorated refund that we will draw from for your new account moving forward.
